People are tired of dissonance.
Welcome to CHORDA
TUNE IN. FEEL THE VIBE. FIND YOUR FREQUENCY.
The Anti-Anti-Social Club. A Prosocial Online Community for People Who Give a Damn.
CHORDA is an eco-social network concept — a platform for mapping and strengthening relationships within living systems. It asks a simple but radical question: what if your social network was organized around shared ecosystems rather than shared interests?
The Premise
Current social media platforms are organized around identity, content, and engagement metrics. They are optimized for time-on-platform and ad revenue. The incentive structures actively work against meaningful connection, nuanced discourse, and ecological awareness.
CHORDA proposes an alternative organizing principle: place. Not geography alone, but ecological belonging. Your watershed. Your food system. Your air shed. The species you share habitat with.
Operating Principles
CHORDA is built on five elements: Resonance (finding your frequency in the local ecosystem), Flow (understanding the flows of matter, energy, and information through your place), Nourishment (supporting the regenerative food systems that sustain life), Attunement (developing sensitivity to ecological signals and seasonal rhythms), and Reciprocity (contributing to the health of the systems that sustain you).
Why Now?
The ecological crises of our time — climate disruption, biodiversity loss, soil degradation — are fundamentally crises of relationship. We have forgotten how to be in right relationship with the living systems that sustain us. CHORDA is an attempt to use the connective power of digital technology to remember.
What if social media made us more alive to the world rather than less?
